As part of the launch of the electric powered Jaguar I-Pace vehicle, we were commissioned by Aurora Media to create the 3D technical animations explaining exactly what goes on inside the car.
Over 5 films that take in thermal management, energy creation and performance we delve inside to highlight Jaguar’s next generation technology. We worked closely with the team at Aurora and Jaguar to create technically accurate 3D models rendered in stylised environments.
By motion tracking live action shot, we were able to seamlessly composite the 3D workings of the car using a variety of techniques. We ensured that the lighting, modelling, texturing and environment all matched the live action shots that introduce the animated sections. It was in this way that we were able to meet the high expectations set out by the brief, resulting in a series of films with high production values.
